The Problem.
The original manufacturer’s aluminum fairings are in constant need of repair or replacement due to cracking. Various repairs and reinforcements have been attempted, but none have provided a dependable resolution. Aluminum is simply inadequate material for this high vibration environment.

The Solution.
We’ve developed prepreg carbon/epoxy stang fairings that virtually eliminate the cracking problem. The new fairings are less than half the weight of the original parts and the basic geometry of the assembly is unchanged.
