Summit Aviation Manufacturing operates in three locations - Middletown, Delaware, Somerset, Kentucky and Greensboro, North Carolina.
While these facilities are in separate geographic locations and differ somewhat in workforce, core competencies and specializations, they work in concert to provide top-quality products and services, and share the same commitment to deliver outstanding value and customer satisfaction.



Summit Aviation's Manufacturing headquarters sits within Summit's MRO facility located on the 550-acre Summit Airport (KEVY) just outside Middletown. The facility is convenient to New York City and Washington, D.C., which are only a two-hour drive or a 30-minute flight away.

The Middletown facility has provided fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft services and support to both domestic and international clients for six decades. It serves clients from the general aviation, U.S. government and foreign military aviation, law enforcement and corporate segments.
The Middletown facilities are comprised of:

Of the three locations, Somerset was established in 2007 and has quickly grown to become a full-service manufacturing and assembly facility.

Known for its expertise in sheet metal fabrication, structural fabrication and assembly (including complex assemblies), this location provides complete support and capabilities to build aerostructure product assemblies for a variety of general aviation, military and commercial helicopters and aircraft.

The Somerset facility is AS9100D Certified and ISO 9001:2015 Certified.

The Greensboro location offers design, manufacturing, milling and turning services to produce machine components and assemblies for a variety of aircraft.
